Not really a poem.Just something that came to me.Kind of inspired by something that my friend is going through with his friend/ex-gf.First is a quote that I thought of.Second is what I thought of after. "You can't help somebody if they don't want the help;Just let it go.You've done all that you can do."---You can't help somebody who doesn't want it.You've just got to hope for the best,And hope that they see the light;The light of their mistakes,The mistakes that,God forbid,They might repeat.Or maybe not.Maybe not,So that the people who strive to keep them safe don't suffer as well.With that,I commend the souls with good hearts,And hope that,One day,They see the light;The light of their mistakes.

"No Friend of Mine"
This is the first real poem I've written.Not sure what I think of it, so let me know what you think.
"No Friend of Mine" I honestly thought this would last forever,But now's the time where we must sever.You've traded up acceptance and love for expensive gifts and lies,I tried to warn you, but you never heard my cries.Why can't you see what you've left behind?But it's too late now, and you're no friend of mine.I tried to ignore the change, but there was no way around it,I've searched for an answer and I finally found it.You try to look past the line between friend and enemy that you tore,But at a certain point, we can't pretend anymore.Who's to take the blame in this, you or I?Maybe this whole friendship has just been a lie.I've seen the person you've become, and there's nothing I can do,Until you see your problem, the rest is up to you.I don't have the money to buy you hapiness and I prefer the truth to lies,And next time I won't be around to voice my cries.I hope your new "friends" treat you well,What'll become of you next, only you can tell.
